Northeastern Gillespie County in south central Texas... * Until 1030 AM CDT. * At 946 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cherry Spring, or 14 miles northwest of Fredericksburg, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Fredericksburg, Stonewall, Cherry Spring, Eckert, Crabapple, Willow City, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, and LBJ National Historical Park.
