Description:
At 1038 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Pollok, or 9 miles northwest of Lufkin, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Hudson, Huntington, Etoile, Woden, Pollok, Zavalla,
Chireno, Broaddus, Homer, Shawnee, Redland, Clawson, Central and
Denning.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
