At 728 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grandview, or
13 miles south of Alvarado, moving southeast at 30 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR GRANDVIEW...ITASCA...COVINGTON...AND
SURROUNDING AREAS OF SOUTHERN JOHNSON AND NORTHERN HILL COUNTIES!
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

Hillsboro, Whitney, Itasca, Grandview, Covington, Carl's Corner,
Aquilla Lake, Parker, Rio Vista, Milford, Sand Flat, Mertens,
Lovelace, Brandon, Mayfield, Osceola, Woodbury, Peoria, and Griffith.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central and
north central Texas.
