At 949 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Springtown, or 9 miles north of Weatherford, moving southeast at 35 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SOUTHERN WISE AND PARKER COUNTIES. HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts and baseball size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 948 PM CDT, 90 mph winds were reported between Springtown and Cottondale. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and businesses will have substantial roof and window damage. Expect extensive tree damage and power outages. This severe storm will be near... Weatherford, Willow Park, and Lake Weatherford around 955 PM CDT. Hudson Oaks around 1000 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Agnes, Boonsville, La Junta, Highland Addition, and Sanctuary.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central Texas. For your protection stay inside a sturdy structure and keep away from windows. This is a potentially deadly storm.
