Description:
At 816 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lake
Bridgeport, or 9 miles west of Bridgeport, moving southeast at 40
mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR EASTERN JACK AND WESTERN WISE
COUNTIES.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Wise and northeastern Jack Counties, including the
following locations... Wizard Wells, Cundiff, Crafton, and Vineyard.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central
Texas.
For your protection stay inside a sturdy structure and keep away from
windows.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately.
