* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, San Saba, Schleicher, Sutton and Tom Green. * WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will develop along a slow moving cold front this afternoon and into the overnight hours. The combination of slow moving storms and heavy rainfall will result in flooding, especially in urban and low-lying areas. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be common, with pockets of higher amounts in excess of 5 inches possible.
