Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
Copano Creek Near Refugio affecting Aransas and Refugio Counties.
For the Copano Creek...including Refugio...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Copano Creek near Refugio.
* WHEN...From Sunday evening to Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Impact...At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 12.0 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.0
feet on 12/31/1998.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
This warning will be in effect until the river falls below its flood
