Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
Aransas River Near Skidmore affecting Bee County.
For the Aransas River...including Skidmore...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Aransas River near Skidmore.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...Impact...At 14.0 feet, minor to moderate flooding occurs.
Some roads are closed. Crops and pastureland are threatened.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 1.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 13.9 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.9
feet on 04/02/1990.
