* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Western Fannin County in north central Texas...
Grayson County in north central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 908 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated ongoing light to moderate
rain. While the heaviest rain has exited to the southeast,
lingering rain over the next hour or two may exacerbate any
current or imminent minor flooding in the advisory area. Between
1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen so far.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Sherman, Bonham, Whitesboro, Denison, Van Alstyne, Howe,
Pottsboro, Leonard, Collinsville, Whitewright, Gunter, Bells, Tom
Bean, Savoy, Ector, Trenton, Knollwood, Ravenna, Dorchester and
Valley Lake.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
