Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
county, Brown.
* WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 730 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Brownwood, Byrds, Lake Brownwood State Park, May, Lake
Brownwood, Cross Cut and Owens.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
FM 1467 crossing Blanket Creek, FM 2273 crossing Rough
Branch, County Road 441 crossing Bledsoe Branch and County
Road 362 crossing Blanket Creek.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
