* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Nolan, Runnels and Taylor. * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 559 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen over areas that received very heavy rainfall yesterday, which will cause flooding to occur faster than usual. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Nolan, Buffalo Gap, Happy Valley, Wingate, Hylton, Coronados Camp, Shep, Drasco, Pumphrey, Wilmeth, Camp Butman, Lake Abilene and Camp Tonkawa. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 89 crossing Elm Creek, FM 1086 crossing Red Lake Creek, FM 89 crossing Elm Creek, FM 89 crossing Scott Hollow, crossings along County Road 263, County Road 196 crossing North Fork Valley Creek, crossings along County Road 227, crossings along County Road 226, County Road 196 crossing North Fork Valley Creek and County Road 263 crossing Fish Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
