* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Wise County in north central Texas... * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 450 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms slowly moving across Wise County. Radar estimates between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Decatur, Bridgeport, Alvord, Chico, Paradise, Lake Bridgeport, Runaway Bay, Cottondale, Balsora, Keeter, Boonsville and Greenwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
