Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
county, Taylor.
* WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 229 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen, which is
falling over areas that received heavy rainfall last night,
which will result in flooding occurring faster. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Abilene, Tye, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Caps, Potosi, View, Dyess
Afb, Hamby, Impact, Kirby Lake, Camp Tonkawa and Lake
Abilene.
- This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 276 and 292.

Intersections along Buttonwillow Parkway, Butternut
Underpass, Intersections along Sammons Street, Texas Avenue
at Arnold Boulevard, Curry Lane from Clack Street to Catclaw
Drive, South 20th Street and Brentwood, FM 89 crossing Scott
Hollow, South 27th Street at Catclaw Creek, US 84 frontage
Road crossing Little Elm Creek and Antilley Rd. crossing
Button Willow Creek.
