Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
county, Throckmorton.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 210 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen on areas
that received heavy rainfall yesterday which will allow
flooding to happen more quickly. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Throckmorton, Woodson, Elbert, The Intersection Of Us-183 And
Us-283, The Intersection Of Us-283 And Ranch Road 209, The
Intersection Of Us-380 And Highway 222 and Lusk.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
lake crossing Kings Creek, crossings along County Road 374,
crossings along County Road 376, crossings along County Road
334 and Hill crossing.
