Description:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Fort Bend and Harris.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 158 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage
areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between
1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Sugar Land, northern Missouri City, Stafford, Bellaire, West
University Place, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Hunters Creek
Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Afton Oaks
/ River Oaks Area, Memorial Park, Greenway / Upper Kirby
Area, Neartown / Montrose, University Place, Fourth Ward,
Greater Heights, Midtown Houston, Downtown Houston and
Astrodome Area.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
