* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Coleman, Concho, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard and Runnels. * WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 331 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brady, Coleman, Junction, Menard, Santa Anna, Paint Rock, Eden, Melvin, Novice, Salt Gap, Calf Creek, Pear Valley, Brady Lake, Hext, Doole, Millersview, Lohn, Stacy, Long Mountain and Saline. - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 434 and 477. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... Park Road 73 crossing South Llano River, White Street at Live Oak Creek, US HWY 377 crossing South Llano River, South Blackburn between Adkins and 13th, FM 1176 crossing Sweetie Creek, RM 385 crossing Falls Prong, FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, 17th Street between Pine and College, Hallum Draw and FM-RD 136 crossing Hords Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
