Description: 
At 110 AM CDT, Thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area earlier tonight and brought up to 3.5 inches of rain to the area. While a lull in the rainfall is present now, additional heavy rain is expected to move into the area and bring additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Meridian, Blum, Iredell, Lake Whitney, Meridian State Park, Rio Vista, Walnut Springs, Morgan, Retreat, Cedar Shores, Eulogy, Kopperl, Lakeside Village and Brazos Point.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
