Description: 
At 732 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated showers producing moderate rain across the warned area. Up to 1.2 inches of rain have fallen in south Lubbock near the South Loop and University Avenue. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by showers. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lubbock, Woodrow, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Texas Tech University, Downtown Lubbock, Slide, Buffalo Springs, and Lubbock Science Spectrum.
