* Flash Flood Warning for...
Eastern Haskell County in west central Texas...
Western Throckmorton County in west central Texas...
* Until 330 AM CDT.
* At 1217 AM CDT, Radar indicated numerous showers and thunderstorms
with very heavy rain repeatedly tracking north across eastern
Haskell and western Throckmorton Counties. Radar estimates that 2
to 4 inches has occurred across the warned area, and an additional
1 to 2 inches is expected with localized higher amounts. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Loop Road crossing Paint Creek, County Road 274 crossing Brushy
Creek, crossings along County Road 247 and County Road 279 crossing
North Paint Creek.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
