At 1135 PM CDT, The Abilene Police Department reported street flooding throughout the city of Abilene. A Mesonet site in the northeastern part of Abilene has recorded 2.10 inches of rain. Radar continues to show showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain overspreading the Abilene area. Up to an additional inch of rain is likely through 1215 AM.
