Description: 
At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated rain was ending over the warned area. Earlier heavy rainfall of between 1 and 3 inches resulted in widespread flooding, including the closure of Highway 87 about 5 miles north of Tahoka. Flooding impacts will continue, but little to no additional rainfall is expected. Continue to heed road closures tonight. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and law enforcement. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Wilson, and portions of Highway 87 north of Tahoka.
Instruction: 
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
