* Flash Flood Warning for...
Eastern Dallas County in north central Texas...
Western Kaufman County in north central Texas...
Rockwall County in north central Texas...
* Until 1230 PM CDT.
* At 924 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. The heavy rain is falling over areas
that received multiple rounds of heavy rain, resulting in rapid
river and stream rises as well as less inundation of water into
urban drainage systems.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

Springs, Sachse, Ennis, Terrell, Seagoville, Forney, Kaufman,
Royse City, Heath, Fate, Sunnyvale, Crandall, Combine and Talty.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
