Description:
At 947 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in At 8:27 AM CDT, flooding was reported at FM 1788 and
I-20. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is
already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Public reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Midland, Greenwood, Stanton, Midland International Air and Space
Port, Cotton Flat, Skywest Airport, Spraberry, Midland Airpark,
Courtney and Warfield.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
