Eastern Gonzales County in south central Texas... Northwestern Lavaca County in south central Texas... * Until 515 PM CDT. * At 152 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Schulenburg, Flatonia, Moulton, Engle, Komensky, Moravia, High Hill, Newtonville and Dubina. The Highway 77 underpass near Schulenburg has nearly 3 feet of water under it and is closed. 6.53 inches of rain has fallen in Moulton in the past 3 hours.
