Carson County in the Panhandle of Texas... Hutchinson County in the Panhandle of Texas... Northwestern Gray County in the Panhandle of Texas... Eastern Potter County in the Panhandle of Texas... Southwestern Roberts County in the Panhandle of Texas... * Until 630 PM CDT. * At 422 PM CDT, a dust channel was over Mescalero Park, or near Canyon, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Satellite Imagery. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. This plume of dust is orginating near Canyon and spreading to the northeast past Borger. Major impacted roads includ borth I-40 and I- 27. Locations impacted include... Amarillo, Pampa, Canyon, Borger, Panhandle, Fritch, Stinnett, White Deer, Lake Tanglewood, Skellytown, Sanford, Buffalo Lake, Washburn, Umbarger, Mescalero Park, Timbercreek Canyon, and Pantex.
