Description: 
At 328 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Sparta to 6 miles southeast of McMinnville. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Crossville, Sparta, Spencer, Fairfield Glade, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill, Doyle, Cumberland Mountain State Park, Rock Island State Park, Lake Tansi, Fall Creek Falls State Park, and Indian Rock Lake. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 320 and 340.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
