At 1236 PM EDT/1136 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Signal Mountain, or near Chattanooga, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Chattanooga, Cleveland, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, Rossville, Walden, Lakesite, Charleston, Ridgeside, and South Cleveland.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
