At 532 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Town Of Santeetlah, or 13 miles northwest of Robbinsville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, Smoky Mountains-Fontana Area, Tellico Plains, Tariffville, Citico, Cades Cove, Deals Gap, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
