At 317 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Spring Hill, or 12 miles east of Columbia, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Columbia, Shelbyville, McMinnville, Manchester, Spring Hill, Chapel Hill, Morrison, Wartrace, Bell Buckle, Normandy, Viola, Christiana, I-65 East Of Columbia, Beechgrove, Fosterville, Summitville, Rover, Deason, and Unionville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 65 between mile markers 41 and 51. Interstate 24 between mile markers 91 and 119.
