At 1212 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Goodlettsville, or 12 miles southeast of Springfield, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Gallatin, Hartsville, Hendersonville, Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville, Ridgetop, Cottontown, Bethpage, Bledsoe Creek State Park, and Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area. This includes the following highways... Interstate 65 between mile markers 93 and 103. Interstate 24 between mile markers 37 and 41.
