Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following
counties, Henry and Weakley.
* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 831 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported minor
flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 3
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Paris, Paris Landing State Park, Dresden, Gleason, Cottage
Grove, Routon, Palmersville, Puryear, Henry, Osage, Whitlock,
Foundry Hill, Mill Creek, Jones Mill, Porter Court, Como,
Crossland, Conyersville, India and Ore Springs.
