Description:
At 745 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 7 miles south of New Rome, or 12 miles northwest of
Friendship, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Portage and western Waushara Counties, including the following
locations... Coloma, Silver Lake, Heffron, Almond, Blaine, Bancroft,
Wild Rose, Hancock, Emmons Creek Barrens, and Dakota.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
