At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles northeast of Buffalo, or 11 miles southwest of Ripley, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ripley, Kenna, Statts Mills, Given, Kentuck, Fairplain, and Gay. This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 124 and 138.
