An area of precipitation is crossing western and central South Dakota at this time. Snow is changing to light freezing rain where temperatures are still below freezing, which may lead to a thin glaze of ice on roadways and sidewalks. Temperatures are rising to above freezing early this morning, but a thin layer of ice may remain and cause slick conditions during the morning commute. Allow a few extra minutes to arrive at your destination this morning.
