Description:
At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Coolville, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Parkersburg, Belpre, Vienna, Washington, Amesville, Fleming,
Bartlett, Little Hocking, and Blennerhassett.
This includes Route 50 in West Virginia near mile marker 1.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and northwestern West Virginia.
