At 924 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Sunbury, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Newark, Johnstown, Sunbury, Utica, Ashley, Hanover, Marne, Galena, Hartford, St. Louisville, Interstate 71 at US Route 36/State Route 37, Toboso, Fredonia, Olive Green, US Route 62 at State Route 661, Purity, Fallsburg, and Kilbourne. This includes I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 128 and 138. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for central Ohio.
