Description:
At 156 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles west of Mount Olive
to near Ruskin. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Clinton, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Harrells, Roseboro,
Garland, Newton Grove, Salemburg, and Turkey.
This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 343 and 359.
