At 144 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Halifax to 14 miles west of Scotland Neck to near Dortches. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Halifax, Scotland Neck, Red Oak, Enfield, Weldon, Whitakers, Battleboro, South Weldon, and Tillery. This includes Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 154 and 145.
