An area of moderate to heavy snow is affecting north-central Minnesota this morning. Expect visibilities less than 1 mile at times. Affected locations will see rapidly changing weather and road conditions...with brief heavy snow and gusty winds. A quick snow accumulation up to one inch is possible. Be prepared for moderate to heavy snowfall rates that could quickly reduce visibility and bring a light coating of snow to roadways. If you are traveling and encounter adverse winter driving conditions...reduce speed and make sure headlights are on.
