Description:
At 959 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Choptank, or near Hurlock, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
vehicles. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Dorchester County, including the following locations... East New
Market, Eldorado, and Brookview.
