Description:
At 719 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Veedersburg, or 17 miles east of Danville, moving northeast at 60
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Covington, Rockville, Veedersburg, Attica, Shadeland, Montezuma,
Waynetown, Rosedale, Hillsboro, Kingman, Waveland, Carbon, Mecca,
Bloomingdale, New Richmond, Marshall, Wingate, Newtown, Mellott, and
Wallace.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 8 and 32.
