At 935 AM HST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hawi to 5 miles southwest of Kahaluu-Keauhou. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Captain Cook, Puuanahulu, Hawi, Mahukona, Honaunau, Kawaihae, Kahaluu-Keauhou, Waikoloa Village, Kainaliu, Kealakekua, Honalo, Pololu Valley, Kohala Ranch, Kalaoa, Halaula, Kapaau, Waimanu Valley, Puako, Kailua-Kona, and Holualoa.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
