Description:
At 145 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Race Pond to near Bell. Movement was
northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Lake City, Hilliard, Folkston, Trenton, Lake Butler,
White Springs, Bell, Fargo, and Raiford.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northern and
northeastern Florida...and southeastern Georgia.
