At 1150 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Boggy Bay, or 7 miles southwest of Waycross, moving northeast
at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Waycross, Jasper, Blackshear, Homerville, Nahunta, Jennings,
Patterson, Fargo, Argyle, and Statenville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT for northern
Florida...and southeastern Georgia.
