Description:
At 442 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm over Miramar, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Davie, Sunrise,
Hallandale, Miami Gardens, Weston, North Miami, North Miami Beach,
Aventura, Dania Beach, Miami Lakes, Cooper City, Hialeah Gardens,
Sunny Isles Beach, Opa-Locka, West Park, and Miami Shores.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
