At 338 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm near Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, or 22 miles west of Pembroke Pines, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Broward County.
