Description:
At 600 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Obrien, or 9 miles east of Mayo, moving east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph, pea size hail, and minor flooding
due to heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lake City, Live Oak, White Springs, Ichetucknee Spring, Suwannee
Springs, Columbia, Fort White, Providence, Winfield, and Suwannee
Valley.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
