Description:
At 455 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Smithland, or 21 miles south of Atlanta, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Vivian, Queen City, Oil City, Rodessa, McLeod, Bivins,
Ravanna, Smithland, Brightstar, Gray and Bloomburg.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
