At 353 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rapid City Airport, or 11 miles east of Rapid City, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Southeastern Rapid Valley, New Underwood, Caputa and Rapid City Airport. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 68 and 80.
