Description:
At 845 PM CDT, emergency management reported a strong thunderstorm
over Henry, or 8 miles west of Goose Lake, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Emergency management.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Goose Lake, Henry, Long Lake, and Tinkertown.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
South Dakota.
